Business Consultancy FAQ’s

What is involved in the Business Consultancy Process?

There are many approaches to the process. You may want Impackta to review your main business systems generally and to report its findings for consideration. On the other hand you may have a specific issue that you would like resolved or a process re-engineered. All of these are relevant and commonplace. Rest assured - whatever the issue we can help you tackle it.

Business Consulting sounds expensive – I thought that was only for large organisations?

Don’t worry. At Impackta no matter what solution we offer a business it will always be agreed and within your budget. Of course sufficient time should be allowed to create a return on the investment but we are always flexible.

Is there a chance I will lose control of the project or my business?

No, you and any of your key people that you wish will stay involved as much as you would like. Regular review meetings will be recommended and of course we recognise that it is your business at the end of the day.

What is the main difference between consulting and coaching?

Consulting is a review analyse and advice process, whereas in the main coaching based upon questioning and allowing ownership of solutions. So put simply advice verses facilitation.

Does a consulting project or issue have to be a major influencing one?

No not necessarily. To be honest there is no task too small but of course if you are going to engage a consultancy expert then you will naturally want to create the highest leverage on performance and profit. If you are concerned just give us a call.

Do I have to sign up to a contract?

No, absolutely not. In fact at Impackta we never ask for contract terms and we want all of our new clients to feel at ease in engaging our services. Having said that our offer is a little different; we actively back the quality of our work in our areas of expertise – business consultancy is one of those specialist areas. We believe that if we add enough value you want to keep us around if we fail we figure you won’t ask us back. This has proven a key success factor for us. We maintain that you can call it a day at any time and we also will only continue to engage the relationship if we believe we are adding value.

Do Impackta have a minimum spend requirement?

No. In fact it’s important to us that any investment is affordable and set at a comfortable level for the business. We have to compliment a business not create financial stress. Generally we will agree any hourly budget at the outset. Having said all that, the commitment has to be sufficient to achieve the objectives within agreed timescales. By all means start at a low number and when we prove our success, step it up a gear!

Is there a possibility of a free consultation if I’m still not sure?

Yes of course we always want to be sure about all of your business decisions and that they are the right ones. To that end we offer all new clients a free consultation to discuss their requirements and also to be sure that we are the right people for the job.
